Senior General Ledger Accountant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior General Ledger Accountant based in the United States. As a Senior General Ledger Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and strengthening accounting operations across a growing, multi-entity, multi-campus organization. You will oversee general ledger activities, support monthly financial closings, and contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting. Working closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls. You will also drive accounting process improvements, leveraging technology and automation to streamline workflows and support organizational growth. This position offers the opportunity to combine hands-on accounting expertise with broader operational impact in a fast-paced, mission-driven educational environment. The role is fully remote and operates on a full-time schedule.
