Technical Delivery Lead

Description: The role is onsite 3 days a week in Dublin Technical Delivery Lead Azure Cloud Leadership - Lead the design, implementation, and management of Azure cloud solutions. - Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premise to Azure. - Ensure Azure environments are secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective. Vendor Release & Deployment Management - Coordinate and manage vendor application releases across development and production environments. - Review release documentation, implementation plans, and rollback procedures. - Lead deployment activities and ensure successful execution of release schedules. - Assess release impacts on infrastructure, integration points, and business services. - Work closely with vendors to resolve deployment issues and technical defects. Infrastructure Management - Provide technical oversight of enterprise infrastructure platforms. - Lead operating system, middleware, database, and infrastructure upgrades. - Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity requirements. - Manage infrastructure incidents, problem management, and root cause analysis activities. Technical Leadership - Act as the technical authority for cloud and infrastructure-related initiatives. - Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers and technical teams. - Define technical standards, design principles, and implementation patterns. - Participate in architecture reviews and technical governance forums. Stakeholder & Vendor Management - Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements. - Manage relationships with software vendors and third-party service providers. - Ensure vendor deliverables meet agreed quality and security standards. - Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and escalation support.
