Agentic AI Engineer

We are looking for an Agentic AI Engineer to join our Global Innovation Hub in Dublin and help establish the foundations of our emerging enterprise AI ecosystem. You'll work at the intersection of AI, automation and software engineering, building intelligent agents, reusable frameworks and innovative AI capabilities that can support associates, franchisees and guests across a global organization. What You'll Do As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will transform innovative ideas into practical AI solutions. Working within our AI Innovation Hub, you'll design, build and test next-generation AI agents and reusable capabilities that can create value across our business. Your work will include: - Designing and building AI agents, autonomous workflows and reusable enterprise AI capabilities. - Creating prompt frameworks, tool integrations, memory architectures and reasoning workflows that enable agents to perform complex tasks. - Developing prototypes using technologies such as Python, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude and modern AI orchestration frameworks. - Experimenting with model selection, routing logic and multi-agent collaboration patterns. - Building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and enterprise knowledge integrations. - Developing secure, governed approaches to AI tool usage and enterprise system connectivity. - Evaluating AI performance through testing, benchmarking, model comparisons and quality assessments. - Partnering with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where agentic AI can deliver measurable business value. - Contributing to enterprise AI standards, reusable templates, governance frameworks and best practices that support long-term scalability. What We're Looking For Required Skills & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or similar technical discipline - 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, cloud development, automation or related technical fields - Strong hands-on experience with Python development - Experience building AI applications, GPTs, copilots, agents, automation workflows or API-driven solutions - Understanding of agentic AI concepts including: - Prompt engineering - Function and tool calling - RAG architectures - Context management and memory - Model orchestration - AI evaluation and testing - Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Nice to Have - Experience with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore or similar AI platforms - Experience working with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs - Knowledge of vector databases, OpenSearch or enterprise search solutions - Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) concepts - Experience in AI innovation, R&D, proof-of-concept development or emerging technologies - Understanding of responsible AI, governance, privacy and risk management frameworks Why Join Us?
