Cloud Engineer

Network Architect | Dublin I’m recruiting for a senior Cloud Engineer / Architect opportunity within a large banking environment, focused on designing and delivering cloud solutions as part of a major cloud enablement strategy. The role would suit someone who combines strong Azure and Terraform expertise with hands-on cloud engineering and architectural experience. Key requirements: - Strong Azure Cloud engineering and architecture experience - Terraform / Terraform Enterprise and Infrastructure as Code - Azure networking including ExpressRoute, VNets and firewalls - Cloud security including Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud and Sentinel - Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift - CI/CD and automation using Jenkins, Maven, Ansible or similar - Programming/scripting with Python, Java or Go - Strong Linux/UNIX knowledge - Experience designing distributed, cloud-native solutions - AWS/GCP exposure and cloud certifications are beneficial This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to remain technically hands-on while influencing cloud architecture and design within a complex enterprise environment.
