We’re working with a really interesting Irish tech company that’s bringing together AI, scientific computing and drug discovery. They’re hiring a DevOps Engineer to build the infrastructure behind their compute-intensive R&D, and you’ll get to shape it from the very beginning. A taste of what you’ll get stuck into - Building CI/CD pipelines from scratch - Setting up containerised environments with Docker and Podman - Creating monitoring, logging and alerting systems - Automating infrastructure and engineering workflows - Troubleshooting and optimising Linux-based infrastructure - Chatting architecture and scalability with the CTO and R&D team What would make you a great fit - 3+ years’ experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE - Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose or Podman - Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins - Strong Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting, networking, systemd and storage - Experience with monitoring and observability, such as Prometheus and Grafana - Infrastructure-as-Code experience, ideally Ansible - Python scripting and automation skills - A self-directed mindset, comfortable building, troubleshooting and owning things end-to-end So, why this one?
