Senior Platform Engineer

I'm representing a well-funded AI startup in Central London building a next-generation enterprise AI platform, bringing people, autonomous agents and business-critical systems together. Most engineers scale existing infrastructure. Very few get the opportunity to architect the foundations of an entirely new category of enterprise software. We're looking for an exceptional Senior Platform Engineer / Platform Architect who wants to take genuine ownership of the infrastructure powering a sophisticated, AI-native enterprise platform. The key skills we're looking for: - Backend engineering: Strong TypeScript, PostgreSQL, API design and distributed systems. - Cloud infrastructure: Deep experience with Google Cloud (GCP), Cloud Run, Kubernetes/GKE and production-grade infrastructure. - Platform architecture: Building scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, public APIs, webhooks and integrations. - Security & reliability: Enterprise-grade authentication, RBAC, tenant isolation, data residency and secure infrastructure. - Scalability & performance: Experience designing resilient systems, asynchronous processing and reliable usage metering.
