ML/Forward Deployed Engineer

🚀 We’re looking for an experienced ML / Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team What we're looking for: - Experience participating in presales processes, discovery sessions, and preparing commercial proposals (Proposals, SoWs, Roadmaps, High-Level Solution Designs). - Ability to analyze clients' business needs and translate them into technical AI/ML solutions. - Experience estimating effort, costs, and timelines for AI projects. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical specialists and business stakeholders (CTOs, Product Owners, C-level executives). - Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and team coordination. - Strong proficiency in Python. - 3+ years of commercial experience developing AI/ML solutions using Data Science, NLP, Computer Vision, and/or Generative AI. - Hands-on experience developing solutions based on LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, MCP, Function Calling, and other modern AI approaches. - Deep understanding of modern AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn), machine learning algorithms, and model evaluation and optimization techniques. - Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and understanding of modern approaches to building AI infrastructure. - Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Spark, Databricks, or equivalent technologies. - Understanding of MLOps processes, including training automation, model deployment and monitoring, data and model versioning (MLflow, DVC), and pipeline development (Kubeflow, Airflow, etc.). - Basic DevOps skills: Docker, Linux, Git, and CI/CD. - Ability to quickly understand new business domains and propose optimal technical solutions. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. - English proficiency at B2 level or higher (German is a plus). Nice to have: - Experience working in outsourcing or consulting companies. - Experience preparing architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and client-facing solution presentations. - Experience participating in RFP/RFI/RFQ and tender processes. - Certifications in AI/ML or cloud platforms (AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, etc.). - Hands-on experience with modern AI tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, LangSmith, LangFuse, Vercel AI SDK, etc.). - Understanding of current Generative AI trends and experience applying state-of-the-art (SOTA) models in commercial projects. - Experience with public speaking, technical workshops, meetups, or writing technical articles.
