Documentation and Technical Writer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Documentation and Technical Writer based in the United States. The Documentation and Technical Writer will develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation supporting complex federal and Department of Defense (DoD) IT environments. This role focuses on documenting IT operations, disaster recovery, continuity planning, cybersecurity processes, and compliance activities. You will transform complex technical information into clear, accurate, and accessible materials that support operational efficiency and audit readiness. Working closely with engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, and IT operations teams, you will ensure documentation remains aligned with evolving systems, procedures, and regulatory standards. You will also strengthen knowledge management practices, improve documentation consistency, and support compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements and ITIL v4 best practices.
