Azure Technical Delivery Lead

Smartedges Client is looking for an individual to help with their Technical Delivery Lead _ Dublin, Ireland _ Hybrid Job Description: ·       Lead the design, implementation, and management of Azure cloud solutions. ·       Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on premises to Azure. ·       Ensure Azure environments are secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective. ·       Vendor Release & Deployment Management Coordinate and manage vendor application releases across development and production environments. ·       Review release documentation, implementation plans, and rollback procedures. ·       Lead deployment activities and ensure successful execution of release schedules. ·       Assess release impacts on infrastructure, integration points, and business services. ·       Work closely with vendors to resolve deployment issues and technical defects. ·       Infrastructure Management Provide technical oversight of enterprise infrastructure platforms. ·       Lead operating system, middleware, database, and infrastructure upgrades. ·       Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity requirements. ·       Manage infrastructure incidents, problem management, and root cause analysis activities. ·       Technical Leadership Act as the technical authority for cloud and infrastructure-related initiatives. ·       Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers and technical teams. ·       Define technical standards, design principles, and implementation patterns. ·       Participate in architecture reviews and technical governance forums. ·       Stakeholder & Vendor Management Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements. ·       Manage relationships with software vendors and third-party service providers. ·       Ensure vendor deliverables meet agreed quality and security standards. ·       Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and escalation support.
