PS Engineer - Projects

- Up to €75k/year + benefits - Dublin 12 location - Full technical ownership of projects across cloud, network, infrastructure I am looking to speak with experienced Professional Services / Project Engineers to take ownership of client projects throughout their entire lifecycle. From initial discovery and solution design through to implementation, testing, documentation and handover, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered securely, to scope and against agreed acceptance criteria. This is a hands-on position for an experience project engineer who can work independently, make sound technical decisions, manage delivery risks and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Eligible candidates must be based within a commutable distance to Dublin and have full working right in Ireland. Your Role - Owning assigned projects through discovery, design, planning, implementation, validation, handover and closure. - Reviewing project scope, requirements, assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, prerequisites and acceptance criteria. - Producing solution designs, implementation and migration plans, test plans, rollback plans and as-built documentation. - Delivering projects across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, hybrid identity and endpoint environments. - Designing and implementing firewalls, switching, VLANs, routing, VPNs, wireless and secure remote connectivity. - Leading technical discovery sessions and communicating options, risks, decisions and project progress to stakeholders. - Identifying scope gaps and delivery risks early, managing changes and escalating commercial or security concerns. - Completing client knowledge transfer and structured handover to service delivery and support teams. Your Experience and Education - Proven experience independently delivering cloud or infrastructure projects within an MSP, professional services or systems integration environment. - Hands-on ownership of discovery, design, migration, implementation, testing, documentation and handover. - Strong Azure knowledge across compute, networking, identity, storage, backup, migration and hybrid environments. - Strong Intune and endpoint management experience, including enrolment, compliance, configuration, application deployment and security baselines. - Solid Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, DNS and DHCP experience. - Good networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs and Wi-Fi. - Ability to manage multiple workstreams, troubleshoot methodically and deliver with limited supervision. - Clear client communication and high-quality technical documentation skills. - Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, server, file, application or tenant-to-tenant migrations. - Backup, business continuity, disaster recovery, PowerShell automation and security-by-design. - Relevant Microsoft Azure or Endpoint certifications, CCNA, Network+ or vendor networking certifications.
