Data Engineer

We're working with an established organisation undergoing an exciting period of technology transformation, looking for a Data Engineer to join its collaborative and supportive data team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with approximately 2–3 years' experience who wants to gain exposure to new technologies, contribute ideas and develop their career. The Role You'll be joining a team of nine, working across data engineering, reporting and transformation initiatives. Responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining and improving data processes and workflows. - Working with SQL and existing SAS-based data environments. - Supporting data quality, transformation and reporting activities. - Contributing to technology modernisation initiatives, including the longer-term transition towards Microsoft Fabric. - Collaborating with colleagues across technical and business teams. - Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and emerging technologies. What We're Looking For - Approximately 2–3 years' experience in data engineering or a related technical role. - Good working knowledge of SQL. - Experience with SAS, Microsoft Fabric, ETL or modern data technologies would be advantageous. - An adaptable approach and enthusiasm for learning new technologies. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - An interest in data innovation, automation and emerging AI technologies.
