Technical Delivery Lead - Azure Cloud

Smartedge Client is looking for an individual to help with their Technical Delivery Lead - Azure Cloud @ Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid Working) Job Description : - Lead the design, implementation, and management of Azure cloud solutions. - Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on premises to Azure. - Ensure Azure environments are secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective. - Vendor Release & Deployment Management Coordinate and manage vendor application releases across development and production environments. - Review release documentation, implementation plans, and rollback procedures. - Lead deployment activities and ensure successful execution of release schedules. - Assess release impacts on infrastructure, integration points, and business services. - Work closely with vendors to resolve deployment issues and technical defects. - Infrastructure Management Provide technical oversight of enterprise infrastructure platforms. - Lead operating system, middleware, database, and infrastructure upgrades. - Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity requirements. - Manage infrastructure incidents, problem management, and root cause analysis activities. - Technical Leadership Act as the technical authority for cloud and infrastructure-related initiatives. - Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers and technical teams. - Define technical standards, design principles, and implementation patterns. - Participate in architecture reviews and technical governance forums. - Stakeholder & Vendor Management Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements. - Manage relationships with software vendors and third-party service providers. - Ensure vendor deliverables meet agreed quality and security standards. - Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and escalation support.
