Senior Business Analyst / Solution Architect – Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) 📍 Location: Portugal 🏠 Work Model: 100% Remote 💰 Compensation: €48,000 gross/year or €35/hour + IVA 🗣️ Languages: Fluent Portuguese and English Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) Solution Architect / Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements discovery, solution design, and platform implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis and consulting skills with hands-on Certinia administration and configuration expertise, enabling them to bridge business requirements and technical execution. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to design scalable solutions across Professional Services Automation (PSA), ERP/Accounting, Revenue Management, Billing, Resource Management, and associated Salesforce platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities - Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. - Translate business requirements into solution designs, functional specifications, and implementation roadmaps. - Act as the primary solution advisor for Certinia implementations and enhancements. - Design end-to-end business processes leveraging Certinia and Salesforce platform capabilities. - Configure and administer Certinia applications, or lead a team responsible for configuration, including workflows, security, data structures, automation, and reporting. - Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend industry best practices. - Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery and integration design. - Support solution testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and change management activities. - Provide guidance on platform governance, scalability, and future-state architecture. - Serve as a trusted advisor to business and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications - 6+ years of relevant professional experience. - 1+ year of hands-on experience with Certinia (formerly FinancialForce). - Proven experience with Certinia implementations and solution design. - Strong knowledge of one or more Certinia modules: - Professional Services Automation (PSA) - ERP / Accounting - Billing & Revenue Management - Resource Management - Experience leading requirements-gathering and business process analysis workshops. - Ability to create high-quality functional and solution design documentation. - Hands-on experience with Certinia configuration and administration. - Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including: - Security model - Reports and dashboards - Flows and automation - Data model design - Experience working directly with business stakeholders and executive sponsors. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Fluent Portuguese and English. Preferred Qualifications - Experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant on Certinia transformation projects. - Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Business Analyst, Advanced Administrator, Application Architect, or equivalent. - Certinia certifications or demonstrable implementation experience. - Knowledge of professional services, project accounting, resource planning, or financial operations processes. - Experience with integrations involving ERP, CRM, HR, or external financial systems.
