Connection Design Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Connection Design Engineer based in Canada. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced structural engineering professional specializing in steel connection design. You’ll contribute to projects from initial analysis through calculations, detailing, reviews, and final submissions. The role offers exposure to both Canadian and U.S. structural standards, including CISC and AISC projects. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams in a technical, fast-paced environment. Your work will directly support constructible, accurate, and efficient steel structures and connection solutions. The position also provides opportunities to strengthen your expertise in engineering software, BIM, detailing, and steel construction. It is well suited to a detail-oriented engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and continuously developing their skills.
