Barcelona | AI Engineering | Early Career (<2 years) 🌍 About Bellwatt Bellwatt is a Barcelona-based startup developing an AI agent for enterprises that enables employees to ask for documentation, analyze operational data, and execute tasks through natural-language conversations. Our mission is to turn companies' know-how and data into accessible, actionable, and secure information for their teams. Behind the scenes, we're building agentic systems that combine LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, tool orchestration, and enterprise integrations. The challenge is making these components work together reliably, with the right context, data permissions, and traceability. So yes, there's plenty left to build, and we're looking for someone ready to get stuck in with us. 🛠️ What you'll do - AI Agents: Build and improve tool-using LLM agents that retrieve information, query SQL databases, generate documents, and execute multi-step tasks. - RAG & Retrieval: Work on document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval and response quality evaluation. - Full-Stack Engineering: Ship end-to-end features using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and React. - MCP & Integrations: Build MCP tools and integrations that allow agents to interact with enterprise data and systems. - AI-Native Development: Use Claude Code daily to plan, write, review, and test code, contributing to code reviews and production deployments. ✅ What we're looking for - Technical Background: Studying Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or a related field, or recently graduated. - Programming: Solid coding fundamentals, preferably in Python, and basic Git knowledge. - AI Development: Hands-on experience using Claude Code, Claude API, or other AI coding assistants in real projects. - Mindset: Honest, committed, ambitious, and professional.
