As we make significant, long-term investments in hosting our own custom AI models, we are transitioning from exploratory projects to high-scale, production-ready systems. You don’t need to be an AI believer—in fact, we highly value a healthy dose of engineering skepticism. Your focus isn't on building models, but keeping them grounded. By designing secure Kubernetes clusters from the ground up, automating with Terraform, and solving the hardware logistics of running large models, you will turn raw technology into secure, enterprise-grade services that actually make sense. What You'll Do - Design, deploy, and manage custom Kubernetes clusters from the ground up on AWS specifically optimized for running our own hosted models - Solve the hardware logistics of running large models, optimizing resource allocation to ensure performant and cost-effective hosting - Build and automate secure CI/CD pipelines to streamline how models and applications are deployed, updated, and queried - Implement strict security and monitoring frameworks to keep our infrastructure tightly locked down and highly reliable - Act as the active technical bridge between the AI development team and LHV's core IT infrastructure department to ensure seamless system integration What We're Looking For - 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems engineering roles - Knowledge of model inference, including serving architectures, deployment strategies, and optimizing latency and throughput at scale - Strong proficiency in Terraform and managing cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes - Practical understanding of hardware configurations and optimizing resource allocation for running heavy workloads - A sensible engineering mindset focused on practical security, cost-efficiency, and system reliability over technology trends - Great communication and critical thinking skills - Proficiency in Estonian language is preferred - Current residency in Estonia, as relocation assistance is not provided for this role WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE - Build something that lasts long after you've moved on - Work with ambitious colleagues who value innovation and move fast - Enjoy the freedom to experiment and the ownership to build real impact - Grow professionally and personally through meaningful opportunities THE FUTURE WE'RE BUILDING Banking has been ugly, slow and impersonal for too long.
