Principal Hardware Engineer

Principal Hardware Engineer I'm working with an innovative semiconductor technology business looking for a Principal Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of complex hardware platforms supporting product testing, validation and high-volume manufacturing. You'll be working on advanced technology platforms supporting applications across AI data centres, automotive, robotics and industrial markets. This is a senior, hands-on technical role offering the opportunity to own hardware architecture and design from concept through to production, without the responsibility of managing a team. Key experience we're looking for: - 7+ years' experience in complex hardware/electronics design. - Strong PCB design and system architecture expertise. - Excellent Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI) and high-speed digital design knowledge. - Experience with mixed-signal design, simulation and hardware debugging. - Proficiency with OrCAD, Allegro, ADS, HFSS or similar tools. - Experience taking hardware from prototype through to volume production. - Background in semiconductor, electronics or advanced test equipment environments.
