Description
Enterprise Architect | Asset Management | London
A leading London-based asset manager is preparing to re-platform its entire front-to-back technology estate, including the OMS. The programme is at the ideation stage, so build versus buy, vendor choice and the target-state architecture are all still open. As permanent Enterprise Architect, you’ll lead those decisions and see them through delivery.
This is as much a leadership role as a technical one. Change on this scale touches every part of the business, and not everyone will welcome it. The firm needs someone with the authority to set direction, the diplomacy to bring senior stakeholders with them, and the resilience to see the change through.
What you’ll lead:
- The target-state architecture across front, middle and back office
- The architecture case for build versus buy, and the vendor selection that follows
- Engagement with senior stakeholders across the business, building the support the programme needs
- Architectural leadership through delivery, keeping the programme true to its target state
- The development of the architecture function for the long term
What you’ll bring:
- A track record of leading a front-to-back re-platforming, ideallyon the buy side
- Deep knowledge of re-platforming, ideally Aladdin, Charles River or SimCorp, and of the wider asset management technology landscape, including proprietary and in-house environments
- Experience of build-versus-buy decisions and vendor selection
- Credibility with senior leaders: you can hold a position under challenge, and you know when to adapt it
- The diplomacy to turn resistance into buy-in
You’ll have a seat at the table from the start and the chance to define the firm’s technology for the next decade.
