Container Platform Engineer

You like to do this As a Container Platform Engineer, you design and implement container-based platforms on Kubernetes and/or OpenShift. You build and maintain clusters, implement CI/CD integrations, and ensure reliable deployments for clients such as Schiphol, NS, and Stedin. You automate platform management with operators and GitOps, implement observability and security tooling, and assist development teams with onboarding and troubleshooting. You work hands-on on technical solutions while facilitating knowledge sharing. Your skills You have a passion for container technology and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. Additionally: • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or OpenShift) • Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) for automation and scripting • Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tooling such as Helm, Operators, ArgoCD, Istio, or Velero • Knowledge of container security best practices and implementation of policy enforcement (OPA, Kyverno) • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Ansible for automation and tooling • CKA or Certified OpenShift Administrator certification, or willing to obtain it in the short term • Ability to explain technical concepts • Oral and written proficiency in Dutch Pre's • CKS certification • Experience with service mesh implementations • Contribute to open source projects Thanks for your time.
