AI/ML Developer (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Developer to join a project developing computer vision and artificial intelligence features. You will work on data-driven solutions from internal cameras in vehicles that support the safety and well-being of passengers. Your task will be to design and develop complex ML systems and optimize models for deployment on edge devices. Your tasks - Developing and improving machine learning and deep learning solutions for internal camera-related functions, including driver monitoring, child presence detection, and passenger classification - Designing and managing ML architectures for multiple functions and shared components - Evaluating model architectures, training approaches, and computational resource requirements - Developing and optimizing image/video processing algorithms and computer vision - Optimizing ML/DL models for deployment on edge devices using techniques such as quantization, pruning, and efficient architectures - Defining experiments and conducting model validation and performance assessment - Ensuring that models meet safety, product, and performance requirements - Identifying technical risks and proposing appropriate mitigation actions - Collaborating with domain experts, data scientists, embedded programmers, and product managers - Supporting the integration and deployment of ML solutions in production environments - Contributing to the development of ML technologies and continuous improvement of the ML development process Requirements - Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial work with machine learning/deep learning and software engineering - Strong knowledge of computer vision and image/video processing - Experience in designing and developing complex ML systems and architectures - Familiarity with Edge AI and optimizing ML/DL models for execution on embedded devices - Practical experience with PyTorch and strong programming skills in Python - Knowledge of standard data science libraries and experience delivering AI/ML solutions to production environments - Ability to design experiments, validate models, and assess their performance - Master's degree in electronics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field - Fluent in Polish - Proficient in English at a communicative level - Residing in Poland and willing to work hybrid 3 days a week from the office in Łódź Nice to have - Previous work on AI projects in the automotive industry - Experience in defining or managing data collection requirements - Familiarity with embedded systems and computer architecture and hardware accelerators: GPU, NPU, SoC - Experience in deploying and optimizing deep neural networks on edge platforms such as Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Samsung, or similar - Master's degree in research or PhD in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field Job no.
