About CiX CiX is an enterprise platform for construction contract administration, with human experts in the loop. The role The CTO owns the technology behind CiX: the platform and the team that builds it. You will set the technical direction, ship the product with the founders, and build an engineering team that can scale with our customers. What you will do - Own the architecture and technical roadmap. - Build an accurate and reliable enterprise platform: workflows, records, permissions and reporting. - Set security and data protection standards that meet enterprise expectations. - Run delivery and quality: releases, testing, infrastructure and uptime, with accurate and auditable outputs. - Hire, lead and grow the engineering team. - Work closely with product and domain experts so the platform reflects how contract administration works in practice. - Oversee AI as a supporting layer to the platform and our experts. - Manage the technology budget, vendors and build-or-buy decisions. - Represent CiX's technology to customers, partners and investors, including security reviews. What you bring - Experience as a CTO, with 10+ years in software engineering. - A track record of building and shipping enterprise SaaS, with a full understanding of the enterprise: architecture, security, procurement, rollout and support. - Experience applying AI in production software. - Strong grounding in cloud architecture, data security and compliance. - A hands-on, full-stack background, and comfort still writing code in a small team. - Clear communication with customers, investors and non-technical colleagues. Nice to have - Experience in construction tech, legal tech or contract management.
