Business Development Executive - Reinsurance (AVP or VP)

Our partner is looking for a Business Development Executive - Reinsurance (AVP or VP) based in the United States. Drive the growth of reinsurance and retrocession business across the Americas in a fast-growing, technology-driven insurance environment. You will originate, structure, and close new business while building long-term relationships with reinsurance brokers, cedents, and market partners. The role focuses on positioning innovative parametric insurance solutions as a strategic complement to traditional reinsurance programmes. Working closely with underwriting and modelling specialists, you will translate client needs into tailored risk transfer structures and commercial opportunities. You will take ownership of the full business development cycle, from market prospecting and pipeline management to negotiation and binding. As a key member of an international team, you will contribute to market strategy, product development, and the expansion of the organisation's presence across the Americas.
