HR & People Operations Expert - Remote

Job Title: HR & People Operations Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote, Global Job Summary We are seeking experienced HR and People Operations Experts to contribute to an AI training project by designing realistic, multi-step HR tasks with objective grading criteria. The role involves transforming real-world HR workflows into structured benchmark tasks that evaluate AI systems' reasoning, accuracy, and practical decision-making. Prior AI experience is not required. Key Responsibilities - Design multi-step tasks based on real HR workflows, including payroll operations, workforce planning, HR policy application, and employee lifecycle processes. - Develop clear instructions and objective grading criteria to ensure consistent evaluation. - Create tasks that require sound judgment, accurate document interpretation, and practical HR decision-making. - Prepare supporting materials, including HR policies, payroll reports, headcount data, and employment agreements. - Identify ambiguous or ungradable tasks and refine them before submission. - Deliver high-quality, approved tasks within project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications - At least 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll, workforce planning, HR policy, or employee lifecycle operations. - Experience developing or applying structured standards, including HR policies, payroll checklists, process documentation, compliance frameworks, or training assessments. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to work across spreadsheets, reports, and policy documents. - HR certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, PHR, or equivalent are an advantage but not mandatory. - Strong written and spoken English proficiency (B2 minimum; C1 preferred). - Experience with AI or LLM evaluation is a plus but not required. Project Details - Engagement: Project-based, with payment per approved task. - Compensation: Up to $90/hour equivalent. - Estimated Time: Approximately 10 hours per task. - Work Mode: Fully remote, with no geographic restrictions. - Language Requirement: B2-level English minimum; C1 preferred.
