Software Developer

Remote (Ireland) / Full-time / Integrations Alderframe connects the applications that sales, warehouse and finance teams use, and builds internal tools for the jobs those systems don't cover: returns approvals, order corrections, reports that show where each number came from. As a Software Developer you work on those connections. You write the field mapping between two systems, handle the order that arrives with a missing customer code, and fix the transfer that has failed every Tuesday for a month. Remote from anywhere in Ireland. What you'll work on: - Integrations between order, warehouse and accounting systems - Internal web applications for client staff - Retry and error handling for failed transfers - Tests - Short write-ups of what changed and why, for the client and for the next developer Requirements: - A degree in computer science or a related field, or a year of professional development work - One of C#, Java, Python or TypeScript - SQL - Git Nice to have: - REST APIs and webhooks - Any ERP or accounting system, from the inside - Azure or AWS Stack you'd touch: .NET or Node.js services, PostgreSQL or SQL Server, message queues, depending on the client. Work is reviewed by a second developer before release. Hours are Irish business hours, with some overlap with New York in the afternoon.
