Job Overview Review drug prior authorization requests that have been denied by the insurance. If we have enough information for the appeal, we create an appeal letter from a template or write it by hand. If we need additional information (such as a missing lab), contact the doctor for the missing information. This position has one shift with hours of 9:00am - 5:30am EST with a thirty minute break. Job Objectives - Contact doctor's offices regarding missing medical information. - Create appeal letters. - Submit appeals to insurance by fax.
