VP, Medicare Advantage Chief Actuary

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Medicare Advantage Chief Actuary based in the United States. As VP, Medicare Advantage Chief Actuary, you will provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the actuarial and underwriting functions supporting Medicare Advantage plan operations. You will oversee pricing, product strategy, financial forecasting, regulatory submissions, reserving, and risk management to strengthen long-term financial sustainability and market competitiveness. Working closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams, you will guide annual Medicare Part C and Part D bid development while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. You will also shape benefit design, evaluate financial performance, and translate complex actuarial insights into actionable business strategies. A key part of the role will be developing a high-performing actuarial organization and strengthening capabilities in healthcare economics, risk adjustment, and advanced analytics.
