Senior DevOps Engineer

We are growing our team in Germany and are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will run and improve the cloud platform behind our analytics tools, client data rooms and internal applications, and work with a small engineering team. The position is full-time and remote from anywhere in Germany. About Wert Group Wert Group is a management consulting firm. We advise owners and management teams on strategy, organization design, operating models and governance, and build the data and reporting tools our consultants use on client projects. Responsibilities - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our internal applications - Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform - Run containerized services on Kubernetes - Set up monitoring, logging and alerting, and take part in the on-call rotation - Automate backups, access management and security patching - Review infrastructure changes and help other engineers with deployments - Keep runbooks and system documentation up to date Requirements - 5 or more years in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure roles - Production experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud - Terraform or another infrastructure as code tool - Docker and Kubernetes - Scripting in Bash or Python Nice to Have - GitHub Actions or GitLab CI - Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog - Experience with GDPR requirements for client data - AWS or Kubernetes certification Benefits - 30 days of paid vacation - Laptop and equipment for working from home - Monthly home office allowance - Annual training budget and paid certification exams - Company pension plan - Flexible working hours The Team You will work with two backend engineers and a data engineer, and report to our head of technology.
