Senior QA Automation (JavaScript)

N-iX is looking for a skilled Senior Automation QA Engineer (JavaScript) to join the team. About the project: Our customer is a full quote-to-cash ERP/PSA used by field service companies (system integrators) that install and maintain physical equipment - AV systems, security cameras, fire alarms, HVAC. The platform covers: - Sales: opportunities, quoting, ordering - Projects: project management, resource scheduling - Service: dispatch, ticketing, field technician management - Finance: accounting, GL, invoicing, purchasing (the financial core is central to everything) - Reporting: data sources, dashboards, report builder - Mobile app: native iOS and Android for field technicians (dispatch, tasks, timesheets, scheduling, offline sync) All modules feed into a single financial core. The platform is sold as an all-or-nothing product today - no modular subscriptions. Responsibilities: - Write automated tests in JavaScript - Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks and infrastructure - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD tools and pipelines - Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback - Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications - Triage, troubleshoot, and document defects - Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing - Collaborate with the QA team and developers to understand requirements and identify test cases suitable for automation - Participate in test planning and estimation, test case design, and continuous improvement of the automation testing process - Prepare test data and set up automation testing environments as needed - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies - Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges and bottlenecks - Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and quality assurance Requirements: -  4+ years of commercial experience in test automation using JavaScript - In-depth knowledge of test automation principles, frameworks, and best practices. - Playwright(preferred)/Cypress/Selenium - Excellent knowledge of test automation with solid knowledge and experience in JS/TS - Experience and understanding of the Test Management process; - Experience with API testing (REST, GraphQL) - Hands-on experience with SQL (querying, data validation, stored procedures, test data management) - Practical experience leveraging AI in QA/AQA processes (requirements analysis, test case generation, test data creation, AI-assisted code review, AI-powered test maintenance) - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (Azure DevOps) practices - Experience in planning and estimation - At least an Intermediate strong level of English - Excellent communication skills, including presentation and knowledge sharing experience Nice to have: - Experience with performance testing; - Experience with Azure DevOps - Experience with Data projects; We offer*: - Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexible - A competitive salary and good compensation package - Personalized career growth - Professional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more) - Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharing - Education reimbursement - Memorable anniversary presents - Corporate events and team buildings - Other location-specific benefits *not applicable for freelancers
