Microsoft AI Practice Lead AI is redefining how organisations operate, compete and grow. This is an opportunity to lead what comes next. We’re looking for an exceptional Microsoft AI Practice Lead to build and scale the next generation of our AI business in Ireland, helping clients move beyond experimentation and unlock measurable enterprise value from AI. This is much more than a delivery leadership role. You’ll shape our AI strategy and go-to-market proposition, influence C-suite transformation agendas, deepen our Microsoft partnership, create market-leading offerings and build a high-performing team of AI architects, engineers and consultants. At the same time, you’ll remain close to the technology, providing leadership across generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning and cloud-native AI engineering at enterprise scale. What you’ll be doing: - Lead the growth, strategy and evolution of our Microsoft AI practice in Ireland, identifying where we can create the greatest value for clients and the market. - Work with C-suite and senior technology leaders to shape enterprise AI strategies, transformation agendas and investment priorities. - Strengthen our Microsoft partnership, connecting emerging Microsoft AI capabilities with real client challenges and market opportunities. - Drive origination, strategic pursuits, proposals and solution shaping, turning AI opportunities into compelling business and technology propositions. - Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise solutions spanning generative AI, agentic AI and machine learning. - Build and mentor a high-performing team of AI architects, engineers and consultants, creating the capability needed to deliver at scale. - Lead multidisciplinary teams across complex programmes, removing technical roadblocks and assuring architecture and engineering quality. - Develop reusable AI assets, accelerators, reference architectures and engineering standards that strengthen our delivery capability and speed to value. - Establish best practices across AI engineering, governance, security, Responsible AI, evaluation, observability and operational excellence. - Represent the practice through executive briefings, thought leadership and industry engagement, helping shape the conversation around enterprise AI adoption. What we’re looking for: You’ll bring: - A strong track record as an AI or technology leader, with experience building teams, capabilities, propositions or businesses. - The executive presence and credibility to advise and influence C-suite and senior client stakeholders on complex AI transformation decisions. - Deep expertise across enterprise AI, cloud engineering, data platforms and solution architecture. - Experience leading complex AI, software, data or digital transformation programmes within enterprise environments. - Strong commercial capability, with experience originating opportunities, shaping propositions and contributing to business growth. - The ability to move confidently between business strategy, enterprise architecture and technology delivery, connecting each to measurable outcomes. - Proven people leadership, with the ability to attract, develop and inspire high-performing technical teams. - A strong understanding of how governance, security and Responsible AI need to evolve as organisations move from AI pilots to production and enterprise-scale adoption. - A genuine passion for emerging technology, combined with the judgement to turn innovation into practical business value. Even better if you have experience with: - Azure AI services and Azure OpenAI - Agentic AI and AI orchestration - Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - AI evaluation, observability and safety - Enterprise integration and API architectures - Python and cloud-native engineering - Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio - Power Platform and Dynamics 365 - Microsoft Fabric - Databricks and modern data platforms - MLOps and MLflow - Kubernetes and containerised AI workloads - Why this role?
