🚨 WANTED: CHIEF TECHNOLOGY MENACE (CTM / CTO) 🚨 Technical Co-Founder | Equity | UK / Remote We need a genuinely exceptional software engineer. Not someone who just manages developers. Not someone whose greatest technical achievement is scheduling another meeting. Someone who can look at a complicated system, understand why it’s misbehaving, fix the bloody thing, and then make sure it doesn’t happen again. We’re building several ambitious products across entertainment, software, AI and technology. Some are already live. Others are in active development. Now we need the technical co-founder who can help turn the whole glorious circus into a properly engineered operation. WHAT WE NEED 🧠 Exceptional programming ability. You understand software architecture, integration, debugging and how to make complex systems actually work.</p> 🤖 AI and local models. Experience with LLMs, offline AI, inference engines and practical AI integration is a significant advantage.</p> 💻 Systems expertise. Windows, Linux, APIs, databases, deployment, networking and the occasional piece of technology that appears to be possessed.</p> 🔧 Hands-on leadership. You can set technical direction, review architecture and still get your hands dirty writing code.</p> 🚀 Product mentality. You understand the difference between an interesting technical experiment and something customers can actually use.</p> 🛑 The ability to say NO. Particularly to a founder who has approximately seventeen new ideas before breakfast. WHAT IT I S An oppor t unity to join as a genuine technical co-founder, with equity from the outset, and take ownership of the technical future of multiple products. You’ll w o rk directly with a founder who brings the ideas, creative direction, commercial ambition and an occasionally unreasonable enthusiasm for making things happen. You brin g the engineering discipline, technical brilliance and willingness to tell him when he’s being an idiot. THE IDEA L PERSON You migh t be a senior engineer, technical architect, independent developer or experienced CTO. Your tit l e doesn’t impress us. Your abi l ity does. You shou l d have a sense of humour, enjoy difficult problems and be comfortable working in an environment where conventional corporate nonsense is treated with the suspicion it deserves.
