Senior Data Engineer

TeamQuest is a rapidly growing Polish company engaged in the comprehensive HR consulting services, in particular in the recruitment of IT professionals. Our client is an international company operating for years in the IT consulting market. Senior Data Engineer location: Kraków, Katowice Tasks - Designing and implementing reliable and scalable data processing pipelines; - Continuously improving existing data platforms for performance, cost, and maintainability; - Closely collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver appropriate solutions; - Collaborating with other teams and technical leaders across the organization. - Ensuring solutions comply with applicable laws, standards, and regulatory requirements; - Tracking new technologies and initiating and implementing innovative solutions. Desired Skills & Experience - Very good knowledge of data platform architecture; - Practical experience in building solutions in Databricks using Python/PySpark (alternatively Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse); - Experience in software development; - Knowledge of Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools; - Very good command of English - Communicative and open to teamwork Good To Have - Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar solutions; - Experience in designing solutions based on data platforms; - Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Azure cloud services, and .NET; - Knowledge of AI-supported development environments, agentic programming techniques, and MCP (Model Context Protocol).
