Back-end Developer (Laravel)

Medior/Senior Back-end Developer (PHP/Laravel) for a Dutch company | Full-time | Remote from Valencia Are you an experienced Back-end Developer with solid PHP and Laravel experience, based in Valencia and looking for your next challenge? At this Dutch digital agency you’ll work on complex, business-critical web applications for a Dutch digital agency where quality, freedom and trust come first. Here you’ll build custom Laravel applications for clients with high standards for their software. No slow processes or endless layers of approval, but short lines of communication, real responsibility and room to make your own technical choices. #kangewoon (Dutch for “sure, we can do that”). What will you do as a Senior Back-end Developer? As an experienced Back-end Developer you’ll work in project teams on custom applications. That means thinking along, building, improving and taking ownership. You translate functional requirements into technical solutions, and you develop, maintain and optimise complex PHP/Laravel applications. You also contribute to architecture and technical strategy. Through code reviews and pair programming you safeguard code quality and performance, and you coach medior and junior developers in their growth. You’ll work with Laravel 12 and PHP 8.4+, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Elasticsearch, hosted on AWS and DigitalOcean with Laravel Forge and Terraform. The team uses GitHub (Actions) and Jira.
