CTO — Solar Engineering 📍 Valladolid, Spain ✅ PLEASE CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY FIRST - You must currently reside in Spain. - At least 10 years of management experience is required. - Applicants without management experience, or with fewer than 10 years of management experience, will not be considered. - Management experience from other industries is accepted, provided you meet the position’s technical requirements. We are looking for a technical leader who can take ownership of engineering quality and help teams make sound decisions throughout a solar project. The focus is rooftop PV for industrial bakeries and cereal-processing facilities. Your work will connect system design with the practical requirements of an operating production site. 🔧 What you will lead - Set engineering priorities and assign clear responsibility for technical reviews. - Evaluate electricity demand, electrical integration and proposed system configurations. - Challenge generation assumptions, equipment selections and incomplete site information. - Coordinate structural and connection assessments with qualified specialists. - Guide engineers through design changes and installation issues. - Establish commissioning standards and review evidence before technical acceptance. What matters in your background You should have experience managing engineering teams or technical functions, reviewing complex proposals and taking responsibility for engineering outcomes. Strong electrical and PV knowledge remains essential. Relationships with Spanish engineering consultants, contractors and industrial facility teams are an advantage. An existing local network is not mandatory for otherwise qualified applicants.
