Engineering Manager

For our Client, international production company (engineering to order), we are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager. This is a key leadership role combining responsibility for day-to-day engineering operations, product development and innovation, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Lead whole engineering to order process and coordinate Engineering activities, ensuring effective collaboration between different locations. - Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of the Engineering function. - Set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely execution of engineering activities and projects. - Lead the development and continuous improvement of products and technical solutions. - Define and drive the engineering and product development roadmap in line with business and customer needs. - Identify opportunities for innovation, standardization, optimization, and cost-effective engineering solutions. - Drive digitalization and AI based transformation of engineering tools and processes Requirements: - University degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline. - Solid professional experience within Engineering, preferably in industrial equipment, mechanical engineering, rotating equipment, gear technology, or a comparable technical environment. - Experience in ETO (engineering to order) type of production is a must! - Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role with responsibility for teams and technical experts. - Strong technical understanding combined with a business-oriented and customer-focused mindset. - Strong leadership and people-development capabilities. - Strong decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. - Fluent English.
