Payment Operations Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Payment Operations Analyst based in Portugal. This is an opportunity to help strengthen payment performance across a large-scale international digital marketplace. You will join a newly established Payment Operations team focused on building end-to-end visibility into the checkout and payment funnel. Working across more than 17 payment service providers, you will identify performance issues, investigate declines, and uncover opportunities to improve authorization rates and conversion. The role combines hands-on payment analysis, root-cause investigation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud teams to turn complex findings into actionable improvements. This is a remote, full-time position in a fast-moving international environment where initiative, experimentation, and independent problem-solving are highly valued.
