Senior Infrastructure Engineer (EMEA Run Tribe) At K-LAGAN, we are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing global cloud and data-center infrastructure environments. In this role, you will be responsible for technical design, build, and run duties across global contact centers, business applications, and agile office solutions, ensuring maximum reliability and availability. What you will do: - Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions across virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi), storage, and operating systems (Windows & Red Hat Enterprise Linux VMs). - Hardware & Systems Administration: Manage enterprise data-center hardware from leading vendors (Dell, HPE, Fujitsu) and administer Active Directory environments. - Operations & Ticket Resolution: Maintain strict SLAs for infrastructure in scope through ticket management in ServiceNow (Silva), support guild patching, and execute vulnerability remediations. - Automation & Scripting: Implement scripting and automation techniques to standardize, streamline, and control infrastructure environments. - Deployments & Continuous Improvement: Deploy approved changes across supported systems and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve international service delivery. - Security & Reliability: Utilize monitoring, alerting, and security tools (such as Qualys, Skyhigh, and Cisco Switching) to enforce infrastructure security standards and ensure high availability. What you need to succeed: - Experience & Qualifications: - Higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. - 5+ years of solid experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in enterprise environments. - Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, Windows/Linux OS, Active Directory, Cisco Switching, and security suites (Qualys, Skyhigh). - Demonstrated track record with scripting and automation tools for infrastructure management. - Experience working within Agile, ITIL, and DevOps frameworks. - Language Requirements: Advanced/Fluent English (C1 level minimum) for seamless communication within international environments. - Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills at local/regional/international levels, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset to propose and implement process improvements. Desirable (Pluses): - Professional certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, or IT Security. - Proven experience in ticket queue management with ServiceNow. 💰 Conditions & Location: - Location: Barcelona. - Salary Range: ~ €35,000 gross/year (commensurate with experience). - Business Travel: Occasional international travel required. - Contract: Full-time.
