Description
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a team evolving our cloud platform and helping development teams deliver software securely, consistently, and efficiently.
You’ll work hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, combining infrastructure engineering with improvements to deployment pipelines, tooling, and engineering practices.
We value relevant experience and autonomy, whether your current title is Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer.
What you’ll do
- Build and improve AWS infrastructure, with a particular focus on managed services.
- Manage and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Work hands-on with Kubernetes, including deploying workloads with Helm and GitOps, tuning resources, configuring autoscaling and networking, and troubleshooting workloads end to end.
- Support development teams in adopting tools and practices such as Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and the 12-Factor App methodology.
- Help teams improve infrastructure resilience, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Contribute to technical decisions and propose improvements to the platform, services, and engineering processes.
- Explore tools and approaches that help solve day-to-day technical challenges.
What we’re looking for
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE, with responsibilities relevant to this role.
- The ability to investigate problems, propose solutions, and deliver independently while collaborating closely with the team.
- Strong experience with AWS, particularly managed services.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including end-to-end workload troubleshooting.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, automated testing, and deployment pipelines in high-scale environments.
- A security-by-default mindset, including IAM and the principle of least privilege.
- A solid understanding of software development practices and architectural patterns, such as microservices, CQRS, and DDD.
- Proficiency in English.
How you’ll work with the team
You’re a natural collaborator who can communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, share infrastructure knowledge, and help teams adopt recommended practices.
You value continuous learning, service quality, and practical innovation. You’re also open to using AI-assisted tools to improve workflows, automate tasks, and support software development.
