System Engineer

System Engineer At Looper Engineering you build, integrate, validate and improve next-generation cabinet systems for the semiconductor industry. You start close to technology development and the production floor, build a deep understanding of the system, and grow toward full architectural ownership and technical leadership. A role for someone who combines hands-on engineering with big-picture system thinking. The role - Location: Brainport region around Eindhoven. - Experience: 5 or more years. - Salary: competitive, indicatively around €4,500 to €6,000 gross per month depending on experience. What you will do - Own and continuously improve the system architecture of both empty and fully configured cabinet systems, integrating servers, hardware and supporting equipment into robust, scalable and maintainable solutions. - Act as the technical bridge between R and D and production, making sure design decisions are practical and scalable for manufacturing. - Translate customer requirements into technical solutions, join technical reviews and provide expert guidance during development and deployment. - Select and evaluate system components on feasibility, performance, cost and manufacturability. - Lead and support EMC and EMI testing, and perform measurements, troubleshooting and root cause analysis on the production floor. - Drive technical discussions, align stakeholders across disciplines and balance priorities to reach the best system-level solution. What you bring - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in system engineering, integration engineering, hardware engineering or a similar role. - Familiarity with high-tech, semiconductor or complex hardware environments, and with standards around thermal management, EMC, electrical safety and ESD. - Experience with multidisciplinary product development and system integration. - Comfortable interacting with customers, and able to zoom in on details and zoom out to the bigger picture. - Energy from leading technical discussions and turning ideas into robust system solutions.
