Senior DevOps with Java

Project Description: We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who is also able to understand JAVA code if needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both modern frameworks and legacy technologies, while also driving automation, deployment, and cloud operations in Azure. In addition to backend development, this role requires solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Unix systems, Shell/Bash, and Python, as well as strong troubleshooting skills to quickly analyze and resolve issues in complex environments. Responsibilities: • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable delivery to Azure. • Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications (App Services, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, Docker). • Manage and optimize workloads on Unix/Linux environments, scripting with Shell/Bash. • Develop automation tools and scripts in Python to support DevOps processes. • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production and development environments. • Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across environments. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing with the team. Mandatory Skills Description: • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles. • Proficiency in Java (8/11/17). • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment and monitoring. • Strong background in DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code. • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep ,or similar). • Proficiency with Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling. • Experience with Unix/Linux systems, Shell/Bash scripting. • Knowledge of Python for automation and tooling. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to debug across distributed systems. • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.). Nice-to-Have Skills Description: • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep). • Experience setting up monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor).
