Lead Software Engineer

Job Requirements P1C3TSTSDevelop and maintain Java 8/11+ backend services for OmniPay’s acquiring and payment processing modules. Build and optimize Spring Boot microservices aligned with OmniPay’s high‑performance switching and processing flows. Design and implement RESTful APIs for merchant acquiring, settlements, reporting, and risk-related integrations. Work with messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) for real‑time transaction processing pipelines. Build robust data access layers using SQL and NoSQL databases to support OmniPay’s reporting and analytics needs. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams integrating with Fiserv’s Payments, Fraud, and Disputes APIs. 5+ years hands‑on experience in Java (Java 8/11+). Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs. Good understanding of messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) Experience with SQL (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra/Redis). Exposure to payment systems, card processing, or acquiring platforms is a strong plus—OmniPay supports global acquirer processing across geographies.
