CTO — Solar Engineering — Commercial Facilities 📍 Aalborg, Denmark ✅ MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS — PLEASE READ FIRST - You must currently reside in Denmark. - At least 10 years of management experience is required. - Applicants without management experience, or with fewer than 10 years of management experience, will not be considered. - Management experience from other industries is accepted, provided you possess the technical expertise required for this position. We are seeking an engineering leader to oversee solar assessment, design quality and technical coordination for commercial properties and vehicle-service facilities. The role requires someone who can manage technical specialists, make well-supported decisions and maintain clear engineering accountability. Your responsibilities - Lead engineering reviews of site conditions, electricity demand and proposed PV configurations. - Establish technical deliverables, review procedures and approval responsibilities. - Coordinate structural and grid-connection assessments with qualified specialists. - Evaluate equipment compatibility, electrical integration and procurement submissions. - Manage design changes and resolve technical interfaces during installation. - Define commissioning checks, acceptance criteria and handover documentation. - Develop engineering staff and maintain traceable records of significant decisions. 🤝 Local professional relationships Connections with Danish engineering consultants, qualified electrical contractors and commercial facility managers are an advantage. An existing local network is not mandatory for candidates who meet the management and professional requirements.
