MuleSoft Solution Architect

About The Role We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Solution Architect to join a growing Integration & Automation team responsible for delivering scalable and business-critical integration solutions across a global organization. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the integration architecture, designing end-to-end solutions, and guiding development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle. You will act as the technical authority for integration initiatives, ensuring that solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, business objectives, and best practices. Key Responsibilities - Lead the architecture and design of enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. - Define end-to-end integration strategies, API architectures, and solution blueprints across multiple systems and platforms. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. - Drive API-led connectivity and reusable integration frameworks, ensuring consistency across integration programs. - Design and recommend integration patterns, including real-time, batch, microservices, and event-driven architectures. - Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, from discovery and design to implementation and production deployment. - Establish integration best practices, governance standards, security guidelines, and architectural principles. - Review solution designs and support development teams with architectural guidance and problem-solving. - Contribute to technology roadmaps and evaluate new integration technologies and capabilities. Required Skills & Experience - Extensive experience designing enterprise integration solutions and integration architectures. - Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. - Proven track record in solution design, technical architecture, and large-scale integration initiatives. - Deep understanding of API-led connectivity, API Management, and API Governance. - Experience with RAML, OpenAPI (OAS), Swagger, and API design best practices. - Strong knowledge of integration patterns, messaging systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures. - Experience integrating cloud and on-premise applications, SaaS platforms, and enterprise systems. - Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence architectural decisions. - Strong understanding of security principles, authentication mechanisms, and integration governance. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Fluent English, written and spoken. Nice to Have - MuleSoft Architect certification (Integration Architect and/or Platform Architect). - Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies. - Experience working in global and distributed teams. - Exposure to healthcare, life sciences, or highly regulated environments.
