Experienced Intermediate Software Engineer, Ruby on Rails

Our partner is looking for an Experienced Intermediate Software Engineer, Ruby on Rails based in Canada . This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve a well-established trading journal used by individual traders and proprietary trading firms. You will take ownership of product development from initial idea through deployment, working across a Ruby on Rails application, broker integrations, and AI-powered features. The team follows an AI-first engineering approach, using tools such as Claude Code to accelerate development while maintaining strong standards for code quality, testing, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with another senior engineer and the product lead in a small, hands-on environment. The position offers significant ownership, direct production responsibility, and the opportunity to deliver improvements that users experience every week.
