Senior Manager - Specialty Engineer (Welding, Pressure Vessels & Fabrication Capability)

Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager - Specialty Engineer (Welding, Pressure Vessels & Fabrication Capability) based in India. This senior engineering role leads global technical capability across welding, pressure vessels, tanks, piping, materials selection, corrosion prevention, and fabricated capital assets. You’ll help protect major capital investments and manufacturing reliability through early technical input and rigorous problem-solving. The role combines deep engineering expertise with supplier development, capital project support, innovation, and technical standards leadership. You’ll influence projects from design and supplier selection through fabrication, inspection, installation, and start-up. You’ll also identify technologies and practices that can reduce capital cost, lead time, maintenance requirements, and equipment failures. A significant part of the role involves developing internal and external technical capability through training, coaching, communities, and supplier engagement. You’ll lead people and technical resources while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, HSE, R&D, suppliers, and external standards organizations.
