Description

We are looking for an SDET to build a full suite of automated tests and automate as much of our regression and QA process as possible. You will work with a team of three software developers and one product manager, and alongside QA on our other scrum teams. What you will do: - Build and own a full suite of automated tests in Cypress, starting with regression coverage. - Automate as much of the current manual QA and regression process as possible. - Use AI tooling to write, maintain, and triage tests faster, and find new places it can speed testing up. - Keep the framework and CI test runs fast, stable, and easy for developers to contribute to. - Define test coverage with the team's developers and product manager from requirements, before code is written. - Run tests, report defects, and work with developers to resolve them. - Report on coverage, quality, and stability, and share testing practices with QA on other teams. Requirements - Intermediate-level experience as an SDET or in a similar test automation role. - Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites in Cypress (or Playwright/Selenium with the ability to move to Cypress). - Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript; C# an asset. - Practical experience using AI tools in a development or testing workflow. - Experience with unit and integration test frameworks such as Jest, xUnit, or similar. - Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps). - Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Criminal background check required.
