We’re looking for a Technology Platforms Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary of £76,000 to £85,500 and a hybrid working pattern. What you will be doing; - Lead and manage ICAEW's technology platforms across cloud, core infrastructure and the digital workplace, ensuring services are reliable, secure and meet agreed service levels. - Oversee the Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure estate, including cloud governance, networking, identity management and the modernisation of legacy systems. - Drive platform engineering and automation through infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines and self-service capabilities, reducing manual processes and improving operational efficiency. - Take ownership of platform performance, major incident and problem management, backup and disaster recovery, ensuring services remain resilient and operational risks are effectively managed. - Lead and develop a multidisciplinary technology team, managing external suppliers and ensuring high standards of service delivery, technical capability and operational performance. - Work closely with Technology Enablement, Architecture and Security teams to improve platform security, manage technical debt, optimise cloud costs and ensure new services are operationally ready. What you will need; Experience - Proven experience managing enterprise-scale hybrid cloud infrastructure, with strong Microsoft Azure expertise covering landing zones, networking, governance, policy and platform operations. - Experience leading and developing technical teams, managing external service providers and taking accountability for service levels and operational performance. - Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management, networking, Windows Server and virtualisation environments. - Practical experience implementing automation and infrastructure as code using PowerShell, Bicep or Terraform, alongside CI/CD pipelines. - Strong experience in IT service management, including major incident, problem and change management, service monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, with the ability to communicate technical risks to senior stakeholders.
