Senior Software Engineer, Bet Engine

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Bet Engine based in the United States. This is a senior engineering role focused on building and scaling highly critical systems that power sportsbook wagering, casino transactions, financial records, and regulatory operations. You will design and optimize performant APIs, low-latency services, databases, and distributed systems operating at significant scale. The role combines deep technical ownership with hands-on architecture, production performance optimization, reliability engineering, and end-to-end feature delivery. You will work across internal, third-party, legacy, and modern systems while solving complex integration, data, and infrastructure challenges. Accuracy, resilience, auditability, and performance are essential because the systems you support process wagers, payouts, financial records, and regulatory data. You will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business domains while mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards through technical guidance and code review.
