Medical Billing Specialist (Dental-to-Medical Billing)

We’re hiring an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to support our client, an established dental practice, in a fully remote capacity. If you have a strong background in medical insurance billing, especially for dental procedures, we’d love to hear from you. Work Schedule: Remote, EST Hours Key Responsibilities: - Verify medical insurance coverage for dental implants, CT/CBCT scans, and mandibular advancement devices - Contact insurance companies to confirm benefits, coverage, and authorization requirements - Assist with medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and insurance claims - Work closely with the dental billing team and maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records Job requirements - Experience with US medical insurance billing and insurance verification - Knowledge of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and claims processing - Experience with dental-to-medical billing (Strongly Preferred) - Familiarity with Dentrix (Preferred) - Good English communication skills (spoken and written) - Detail-oriented, reliable, and available to work EST hours Originally posted on Himalayas
