Description
We’ve signed up to an ambitious journey. Join us!
As Arrive, we guide customers and communities towards brighter futures and more livable cities, it isn’t a challenge just anyone could take on. Luckily, we have something to help us make it happen. Our people and our values. We Arrive Curious, Focused and Together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star, the shining light leading travelers to their destinations since time began, our values guide us. They help us be at our best. For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let’s grow better, together.
The Role
To help power our ongoing growth and transformation, we are looking for a Senior People Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. Based in one of our hub locations (London, Stockholm or Paris/Besancon) and partnering directly with our Technology Business Unit, you will serve as the primary architect of people strategy for a dedicated part of our Technology function.
In this individual contributor role, you will guide senior technology leadership through complex organizational design, rapid transformation, and post-merger integration. Navigating the natural ambiguity of a fast-growing environment, you will translate ambitious business targets into simple, data-driven people plans.
Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will collaborate closely with key partners across Talent & Culture, People Operations, and Reward to drive our unified "One Arrive" way of working. This position offers a direct opportunity to drive high-value strategy and scale team structures across our global locations.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Organizational Transformation: Lead end-to-end organizational change, including rapid scaling, structural optimization, and post-acquisition stabilization. Act as a custodian of organisation design, ensuring we have the right people in the right places.
- Strategic Advisory & Executive Coaching: Act as a high-level coach and trusted advisor to senior leaders—challenging thinking, fostering high-trust leadership, and providing expert guidance on complex people matters.
- European Employee Relations: Partner with local employee relations bodies on strategic people topics, ensuring legal compliance and cultural alignment.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize people analytics to monitor organizational health, engagement, and retention, pivoting strategies based on clear evidence.
- Talent & Succession Planning: Identify critical talent gaps and lead robust succession planning to ensure leadership continuity during hyper-growth.
- Performance & Total Rewards: Influence global performance management and compensation frameworks to drive high performance and innovation.
- Culture Stewardship: Build and refine team structures from scratch while proactively fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture rooted in our core values.
About You
You are a resilient, adaptable, and low-ego professional who thrives on empowering others, fostering high-trust leadership, and delivering business impact over status. You excel in fast-paced environments where building frameworks from scratch excites you, bringing a calm, strategic presence to periods of rapid change.
With a strong growth mindset and high learning agility, you naturally pivot as business needs evolve. You are an empathetic, collaborative communicator who builds deep trust across diverse cultures, seamlessly coaching executive leaders while remaining hands-on with strategic delivery.
Your Background
- Senior HR Track Record: Proven experience as a Senior People Business Partner, HR Director, or Head of HR in a fast-paced, global organization (ideally technology or Private Equity-backed).
- Language Capabilities: Full fluency in English (written and spoken). Fluency in French is highly desired.
- Global experience: Experience working in a multi-national company providing HR support across multiple geographies, not just the location in which you are based.
- European Market Expertise: Extensive experience navigating complex international legal landscapes, local employment law, and working directly with Works Councils (specifically in France and across European markets).
- Transformation Ownership: Direct experience leading end-to-end organizational transformation, including rapid scaling, post-merger integration, or structural optimization.
- Process Architect Mindset: Proven ability to build scalable people frameworks from scratch in lean, high-growth operating models.
- Data & Analytics: Strategic mindset with a proven track record of using people analytics to influence senior leadership decisions.
