Description

About The Company Majori GmbH is supporting a partner with approximately 5,000 employees in its search for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer. The organization operates across a global environment and is continuing to develop its cloud capabilities to support business needs, technical growth, and reliable services. Its infrastructure currently includes both cloud and on-premises environments, managed by a close-knit team of four specialists. This position is an opportunity to join that team and contribute dedicated expertise to the evolution of the company’s Microsoft Azure platform. About The Role As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will focus fully on Microsoft Azure and help expand and improve a global cloud platform. You will work closely with the existing infrastructure team, bringing specialist cloud knowledge to an environment that also includes on-premises systems. The role combines hands-on engineering with ongoing platform development, operational improvement, and collaboration with colleagues and relevant stakeholders. You will help shape cloud services so they are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with the organization’s requirements. The position is suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys taking ownership, solving technical challenges, and improving cloud environments over time. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise to an established enterprise environment while contributing to its continued cloud development. Qualifications We are looking for a cloud professional with substantial practical experience working with Microsoft Azure in business or enterprise environments. You should be comfortable designing, implementing, and operating Azure services, and able to assess technical requirements before recommending suitable solutions. A solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, identity and access management, security, monitoring, and cost-conscious resource management will be important. Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code approaches is an advantage. Familiarity with hybrid environments and integration between cloud services and on-premises infrastructure will help you collaborate effectively with the wider team. Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications are beneficial, but practical expertise and a strong commitment to maintaining secure, dependable services are equally valued. You communicate clearly, document your work, and can explain technical topics to colleagues with different levels of cloud knowledge. You are organized, proactive, and able to prioritize operational needs alongside longer-term platform improvements. Professional proficiency in English is expected for collaboration in a global environment; additional languages may be useful. Responsibilities Design, implement, maintain, and improve Azure infrastructure and cloud services in line with business and technical requirements. Support the ongoing expansion of the global cloud platform, ensuring that solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and appropriately governed. Monitor the health and performance of cloud resources, investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions. Apply security and access controls, contribute to compliance-related practices, and promote consistent configuration standards. Automate repeatable tasks where appropriate and maintain clear technical documentation. Work with the existing infrastructure team on dependencies between Azure and on-premises systems, while keeping your primary focus on Microsoft Azure. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, assess options, and deliver practical solutions. Identify opportunities to improve reliability, operational efficiency, and cloud resource utilization. Benefits This opportunity offers the chance to concentrate on Azure engineering within a sizable, internationally oriented organization and to make a meaningful contribution to the development of its cloud platform. You will work as part of a small infrastructure team where specialist expertise can have a visible impact. Further details about compensation, working arrangements, professional development, and other benefits can be discussed during the recruitment process and will depend on the partner’s applicable policies. Equal Opportunity Majori GmbH and its partner are committed to fair and respectful recruitment. All qualified applicants will be considered based on their skills, experience, and suitability for the role, without discrimination on the basis of characteristics protected by applicable law. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and encourage you to apply if your experience aligns with the opportunity.
